YOH POS Live

The till that keeps selling.

Tables and takeaways on iPad, handhelds on your waiters' phones, tickets on the kitchen screen. When the internet drops, every iPad keeps trading and catches up when it's back.

Runs in Safari, added to your Home Screen. The App Store app is coming.

KITCHEN · PIZZA STATION

TABLE 7 · 4 COVERS

COURSE 2

  • 1 × Margherita
  • 1 × Diavola, no chilli
  • ALLERGY: NUTS

Fired.

Built for a full house.

Live: use it today. Coming: not switched on yet.

Live

Tables and takeaways

Floor plan, covers, sizes, modifiers and courses you fire when the table's ready.

Live

Kitchen screen

Tickets by station on an iPad, an Android tablet or a PC screen, with bump bars and a screen for the pass. Voids and allergies get a louder chime, and Reports show how long each ticket took.

Live

Handhelds

Waiters take orders and payments at the table on an iPhone or Android phone, with their own cash bank if you like.

Live

Split bills and tips

Split evenly, by seat or by amount, add tips, and round cash to the nearest 10c.

Live

Cash you can trust

Voiding a sent item needs a manager unless you allow it, and prints a VOID ticket. Blind cash-ups, X and Z reports, and foreign cash.

Live

Proper tax invoices

VAT tax invoices with your VAT number, and customer accounts for regulars and companies.

Live

Prices by order type

Dine-in, takeaway and delivery can each have their own price.

Live

Cashless from day one

New restaurants start with no cash on the till. Take cash? Switch it on store by store. Add a customer display so guests see what they pay.

Live

Rewards and gift cards

Scan a guest's YOH card with the iPad camera, and sell or redeem gift cards at the till.

Live

Receipts by email or QR

Email the receipt from the till, or guests scan the QR on the slip.

Live

Trainee mode

New staff practise on the real till. Practice sales never reach your sales, reports or stock.

Live

Paid twice, sorted

Two tills take money for the same bill? Nothing's lost. The till shows what to give back, and the cash-up still adds up.

Internet down? Keep selling.

Every iPad keeps a record of its own sales. With no internet it keeps taking orders and payments, and syncs the moment it's back. Until then each iPad sees only its own orders, so keep kitchen tickets printing.

Live today

Live
  • Each iPad sells on its own with no internet.
  • Tickets and receipts keep printing over your Wi-Fi.
  • Handhelds keep their orders and send them when they're back online.
  • A card machine with its own SIM keeps taking cards.

Coming with the iPad app

Coming
  • Tills and kitchen screens sharing orders over the store Wi-Fi.
  • Kitchen screens on iPad that don't need the internet.

Pay at the table Coming

Scan. Split. Paid.

A QR code on the bill. Guests pay the lot, an even share or an amount of their own, add a tip, and the table closes itself on the till.

Coming. It switches on once Yoco gives the go-ahead.

  • Split between up to 20 people, or pay an amount of their own.
  • Tips from the choices you set, or one of their own.
  • Payments go straight to your Yoco account. YOH never holds your money.
  • Guests see the items and totals, never who served them or who else is at the table.
  • No app to download. It opens in the phone's browser.

Refunds are done in the Yoco app. The smallest payment is R2.

What you need.

  • An iPad on iOS 15 or later for each till.
  • Your card machine. One with its own SIM keeps taking cards when the Wi-Fi doesn't.
  • Store Wi-Fi where your devices can see each other. It's one setting, and we'll help.
  • For printed receipts and kitchen tickets: an Epson printer with ePOS built in, like the TM-m30III. Not every TM-T20 or TM-T88 has it, so send us a photo of the label. AirPrint printers work through the iPad's print dialog. Star printers aren't supported.
  • Recommended: a backup internet router on its own SIM. Until the iPad app is out, tills share tables through the internet.
  • If you like: staff phones as handhelds, and an iPad, Android tablet or PC screen in the kitchen.

We don't sell or lease hardware. Use what you have, or buy it where you like.

TODAY

YOH POS runs in Safari. Add it to each iPad's Home Screen and always open it from there, so the iPad keeps every sale safe until it syncs.

A new version never loads mid-sale. It waits on the sign-in screen until someone taps to update.

No form, no sales call

See it before you believe it.

Both demos run a pizza shop with made-up trading, on your device only. Nothing you tap leaves your browser.

The till

Tables, takeaways and the kitchen screen.

Open a table, split a bill, fire a course.

Open the till ↗ (opens in a new tab)

Tap Try the demo on the first screen. Best on an iPad. On a phone you get the handheld.

The back office

Two weeks of trading to dig through.

Stock, leaks, profit and reports.

Open the back office ↗ (opens in a new tab)

Tap Try the demo. Best on a laptop.

On the way

Coming
  • The YOH POS app on the App Store
  • Tills and kitchen screens sharing orders over the store Wi-Fi with no internet
  • The till sending the amount straight to your Yoco machine
  • More card providers, picked store by store
  • Tips added on the card machine
  • Pay at the table

Fair questions.

Is YOH POS on the App Store?

Not yet. The till runs in Safari at pos.getyoh.com. Add it to your Home Screen and always open it from there. The iPad app is coming.

What happens when the internet goes down?

Each iPad keeps selling and catches up when the internet's back. Until then each iPad sees only its own orders. Cards carry on through a card machine with its own SIM. Kitchen screens need the internet for new tickets until the iPad app is out, so keep printed kitchen tickets as a backup.

Does it work with my card machine?

Yes, any card machine. Take the card on the machine, then record it on the till, even with no internet. For now the amount goes in twice. The till sending it straight to a Yoco machine is coming, then more card providers.

Does it run on Android?

Handhelds and kitchen screens do, in Chrome. The main till runs on an iPad.

Does it work with Uber Eats and Mr D?

Not automatically yet. Ring their orders up as their own order type, with their own prices if you like, and Profit by channel shows what each app really earns you.
